Household waste and recycling collections

We collect waste and recycling from households across the region.

Customer notice -  Christmas trees

Real Christmas trees
Take real trees to household waste recycling centres or put them out alongside your general household waste for collection until Friday 19 January - trees don't need to be in council refuse sacks but should be cut into lengths of up to 1 metre long.

Electrical and fibre optic trees
These trees need to be put in the container for small domestic appliances at your local household waste recycling centre, broken tree lights can also be placed in this container.

Non-electrical artificial trees
Artificial trees that aren't electrical can be placed in your wheeled bin or council refuse sacks for disposal.

We offer a separate white goods uplift service for domestic appliances such as fridges and washing machines.
