Core paths in Dumfries and Galloway

A number of key public access routes known as core paths have been identified across the region. We have a duty to ensure that recognised core paths are in reasonable condition and signposted.

The condition of each route varies. We don't own the paths and have no obligation to maintain them but we've been working to get them in reasonable condition.
